Our Craftsmanship Warranty

At Rae Shields, we create your personalized jewelry with exceptional care and are committed to the highest standards of craftsmanship. Our warranty reflects our confidence in the quality of our work and provides you with peace of mind.

6-Month Warranty Coverage

Your Rae Shields jewelry is covered by a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects, valid from the date you receive your order. This covers issues related to the structural integrity of your piece, such as faulty clasps, broken chains (without signs of force), or other craftsmanship-related faults.

If you experience an issue you believe is covered, we will repair or replace the defective piece free of charge.

How to Make a Claim

Should you need to make a warranty claim, please email us at info@raeshields.com with the following:

  1. Your original order number.
  2. A clear photo and a brief description of the issue.

What Our Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Normal Wear & Tear: Scratches, dents, or stretched chains that occur from daily wear over time.
  • Tarnishing: Tarnishing is a natural process for precious metals. It can be managed with proper care (as outlined in our Care Guide) but is not considered a manufacturing defect.
  • Accidental Damage: Breakage or damage caused by improper handling, dropping, or exposure to chemicals, lotions, and water.
  • Lost or Stolen Items.

Important Considerations

  • Third-Party Alterations: Any repairs or alterations performed by a jeweler other than Rae Shields will immediately void this warranty.
  • Assessment Required: All items submitted for a warranty claim must be returned to our studio for evaluation before a repair or replacement is issued.
  • International Orders: At this time, international orders are not eligible for warranty repairs.
